The bearings have a bad wear pattern. Its only on one 'Side' of the bearing.. it should be more even than it is.. You have only pictured the block half bearing.. I'd like to see the girdle half wear pattern.. and see if the pattern is replicated on there.. Either the Crank Main is tapered, or the Block Main Bore is tapered.. My money is on the crank.. but check it all.. The Bores look a little compromised.. nothing serious.. The wear patterns look good for 'Not Out of Round High Spots'.. just the vertical scratches on the thrust faces.. looks like what ever the coating of the pistons had, has come off, is LIKELY the scratches that we see on the Thrust Side of the Bore.. The Hatch Pattern looks good, but the Oil rings do not look like they have been doing the job.. Not sure why.. Check the Ring end gap.. are they the proper size ring for the bore?.. It looks like it's been using a lot of oil.. has it?. Sorry about your woes.. it should have lived longer than this.. Cj
